Matthew Keegan-Phipps

Matthew changed career to Surveyor after being a Secondary Music Teacher for 15 years; he completed the SAVA Diploma in early 2024. He became an associate of Bristol Surveyors shortly afterwards and is quickly gaining a reputation for integrity and trustworthiness. Matthew’s skills in communication and explanation are exemplary, which enable him to support clients to make informed decisions about their property purchase. He has also used these skills to support student surveyors through the journey to becoming qualified.
Qualification
He completed the SAVA Diploma in Residential Surveying and Valuation in April 2024. He is a member of the Residential Property Surveyors Association, a graduate member of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers, and an associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors: AssocRICS 6987609.
Specialism
Matthew has experience of properties from around the South West and South Wales; his specialism is properties from the 1930s to the present day. He offers level 2 surveys on houses and flats; he is developing his skills to offer full building surveys in the future.
Interests
He is a musician, playing saxophone for many bands and dance groups in the South West and nationally; he loves to travel, with a particular love of Spain where he lived with his partner and three children for five years.
